🛍️ Returns
We accept returns for eligible items within 7 days of the delivery date.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt).
- Perishable goods (e.g., opened food or beverage items), gift cards, and digital products are non-returnable.
💡 Note: Books with signs of use, dog-eared pages, or writing/highlighting cannot be returned.
🔄 How to Initiate a Return
- Email us at contact@booksincoffee.com with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you’d like to return
- Reason for the return (optional but helpful!)
- We’ll send you return instructions and the return shipping address.
- Once we receive and inspect the item(s), we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
📦 Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item).
💸 Refunds
If your return is approved:
- Your refund will be processed back to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
- A notification email will be sent once your refund has been issued.
🔁 We do not refund original shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.
🧃 Exchanges
Need a different book, flavor, or product? Reach out to us and we’ll do our best to accommodate an exchange, depending on availability.
❌ Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:
- Perishable items (e.g., opened food or drinks)
- Used or damaged items not due to our error
- Digital downloads or eBooks
- Gift cards or promotional vouchers
- Clearance or final sale items
🧾 Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you received the wrong item or it arrived damaged:
- Please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
- Send us a photo of the item and packaging.
- We’ll ship a replacement or issue a refund at no additional cost.
