Return and Refund Policy


Thank you for shopping with BooksInCoffee! We hope you love every product you order, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.


🛍️ Returns

We accept returns for eligible items within 7 days of the delivery date.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
  • You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt).
  • Perishable goods (e.g., opened food or beverage items), gift cards, and digital products are non-returnable.

💡 Note: Books with signs of use, dog-eared pages, or writing/highlighting cannot be returned.


🔄 How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at contact@booksincoffee.com with:
    • Your order number
    • The item(s) you’d like to return
    • Reason for the return (optional but helpful!)
  2. We’ll send you return instructions and the return shipping address.
  3. Once we receive and inspect the item(s), we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.

📦 Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item).


💸 Refunds

If your return is approved:

  • Your refund will be processed back to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
  • A notification email will be sent once your refund has been issued.

🔁 We do not refund original shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.


🧃 Exchanges

Need a different book, flavor, or product? Reach out to us and we’ll do our best to accommodate an exchange, depending on availability.


Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Perishable items (e.g., opened food or drinks)
  • Used or damaged items not due to our error
  • Digital downloads or eBooks
  • Gift cards or promotional vouchers
  • Clearance or final sale items

🧾 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received the wrong item or it arrived damaged:

  • Please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
  • Send us a photo of the item and packaging.
  • We’ll ship a replacement or issue a refund at no additional cost.
